Stevenson Whelton LLP lawyers Neil Wilson and Meaghan Coker were recently successful in responding to an appeal of a trial decision involving a collision between a motor vehicle and a cyclist. The trial decision was largely upheld with only an adjustment to the award for loss of income, resulting in a final all-inclusive award of approximately $3.5 million. The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal from the trial judge’s rulings on liability and various other issues, including future care costs, contingencies and deductions.
