SWMS Obtains Contempt Ruling Against Judgment Debtor in Complex Enforcement Dispute

SWMS lawyers Neil Wilson and Arina Joanisse recently successfully represented a judgment creditor in a complex enforcement dispute.  The court found the judgment debtor to be in contempt of court, granted judgment against garnishee corporations found to have failed to remit funds to the sheriff, and reduced the standard exemptions from garnishment contained in the Wages Act.  A copy of the decision can be found here.
