Biography

Shae-Lynn articled with Stevenson Whelton LLP in 2022-2023 and joined the firm as an associate in 2023. She practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, and medical malpractice.

Shae-Lynn graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in the spring of 2022. During law school, Shae-Lynn was involved with the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP). She began as a volunteer caseworker in her first year and worked as a Division Leader in her second year in the Immigration Law Division. During her time at CLASP, Shae-Lynn successfully advocated for clients in such matters as refugee claims, humanitarian and compassionate applications, and temporary residence permits for victims of family violence.

Shae-Lynn has a particular interest in cross-border litigation. She was awarded the Gurston Allen Prize in Conflict of Laws in her third year for achieving the highest standing in the area of conflict of laws. She looks forward to further developing her skills in providing supportive advocacy to clients during complex litigation with Stevenson Whelton LLP.

In her free time, Shae-Lynn enjoys running, spending time with her rescue dog, and following the latest fashion trends.
